Eitoeiko
Eeitoeiko is a contemporary art planning gallery that debuted at the 101 TOKYO Contemporary Art Fair in April 2009.
We only deal with contemporary art as fine art and strange works that divide the line between art and what is not.
Then, we will send Japanese writers overseas and introduce them to Japan. The Eitoeiko gallery is located in Kagurazaka, a quiet residential area of Yarai Town in Tokyo. 5 minutes walk from the Yarai exit of Tokyo Metro Kagurazaka station.
The place where the lower mansion of the Obama clan was located became the name of the town of Yarai because there were Takeyarai around the mansion.
The gallery, which was designed by Tadashi Yasui of Craft Science and opened the living room on the first floor of a wooden 3-story house constructed by Nakajima Corporation, is full of light.
In the spring of 2010, a cafe will be opened next to the alley, and new art will be transmitted from the town of Yarai, a town where cultural people gather.
