Shari Ubechel was born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. She attended the Moore College of Art in Philadelphia, Temple University’s Tyler School of Art, and studied art in Rome. Her time in Rome inspired her to travel to another 25 countries on every continent except Antarctica.
