Its mission is to connect individual voice with community by exploring relationship between artists and writers and the content of their work through interview, essay, and profile. It seeks out the remote avenues of visual culture for an interdisciplinary dialogue between contemporary critical theory and art practices.

Art & Deal Publication has also been instrumental in producing books like Art of the Earth (2003). It has been a main catalyst in bringing awareness in the heritage management and also initiated a conservation center with a fully equipped lab in Delhi. It has organized Slide Shows and Lectures of artists as well as craftsmen. The publication has produced documentaries on ‘Saura’ tribes of Orissa and Bengal, Kalighat patachitras, ‘Santhal’ tribes of Orissa and contemporary woman artist ‘Aparna Caur’.
