The International Sculpture Bienniale in Borås — also known as the city of sculptures — is organized every two years by the Borås Museum of Modern Art along with the City of Borås.
The Borås Museum of Modern Art is known for its national as well as international exhibitions and for its rich collection of Swedish contemporary art. The museum consists of three floors divided into several exhibition spaces and has educational activities for children and adults. The museum also has a regional assignment to collect, preserve, and display moving images.
