Process & concept of my Art Inward journey of nature… Anand Dabli
My paintings are not just applications of colors on canvas but it is a process to reach close to the unseen and unheard part of nature, it is a sincere effort an experiment to represent my imagined world of Nature. We see nature, its beauty, and experience it through our senses. Nature is full of colors, they play an important role in nature so are they in my paintings. The only difference what a layman see and I see Nature as is, I try to see the magnified version of nature where the colors exist but in a form of tiny particles fragmented, distorted, I see the texture, the tone, the line, the beauty the ugly and all that is governed by my senses in the time and space I paint. My painting is full of nature, full of colors, it has thousands of small tiny forms, shapes, tones, and textures, and each of them has a meaning for me. It is my conscious effort to express my unconscious behavior governed by the intense relationship of my world of painting and nature.
Art for me has become a daily ritual; I am uncomfortable not painting even for a day. Whenever I paint I get lost in NATURE and every time I paint I have a feeling of incompleteness: I tried to unleash the reason behind it but did not find It. Gradually now I can realize that painting in an isolated place may be the reason to have the feeling of incompleteness, I have painted more than thousand of paintings to date and I am lucky I am surviving freelance painter. I see many Abstract artists’ around me, who paints differently; they have their own language of Abstraction. Talking with them I always feel that I am not an abstract painter, because I draw before I paint, I think the subject; I try to narrate the language of Nature the color, the texture, and try to maintain the harmony of all these elements in my painting.
