Founded in 1948 in Parry's Corner by late P.V. Narayanan, we started out by selling cashew nuts and then added plastic ribbons to our cards before branching out to stationery and school supplies.

Our store in Royapettah established by P.N.Venketakrishnan in 1974, was originally housed next to the iconic Ajantha Hotel in Royapettah High Road, Chennai, selling all kinds of gift material and school stationery.

Slowly we started to gain notoriety for being a well stocked and efficient retailer of art materials in the city, which even today remains our key focus.

Our motto is that the customer should never hear us say the word "NO" and hence our reputation for being one of the most dependable art stores in the city lives on today.
