Galerie Paris-Beijing
Description
Founded in Beijing in 2006, Galerie Paris-Beijing opened its second space in Paris in 2009. In 2014, it changed its Parisian address and moved into a 400 m2 space at 62 rue de Turbigo. A pioneer in representing contemporary Chinese photography, Galerie Paris-Beijing is now embracing a new multidisciplinary and international approach to its programming (Volkan Aslan, Léa Belooussovitch, Mehmet Ali Uysal, Sebastian Wickeroth). Galerie Paris-Beijing is particularly receptive to artists who question our relationship to power and society, although this is not a guiding principle for the gallery.
In 2017, in parallel to organizing exhibitions of its artists and curatorial projects, the gallery dedicated part of its exhibition space to supporting young artists through the PBProject.
