Chinmoyi Patel

Chinmoyi is a visual artist based in Baroda, India. She works primarily with sculptural and video installations. Her work uses various forms of play, humor, appropriation, and collaborations to present personal stories, memories, histories, and experiences of the changing rhythms of urban life. She is interested in the shifts and ruptures caused by rapid urbanization and development, which bring a sense of displacement, and how they exist within a larger social and cultural framework.
