Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Fine Arts
Bharati Vidyapeeth is proud to be the first to introduce degree in FINE ART under University of Pune through the establishment of Bharati Vidyapeeth's Bharati Kala Mahavidyalaya (College of Fine Arts).
This College was established by Dr. Patangrao Kadam with a view to providing educational opportunities to the students who want to make their career in the field of Fine Arts. The college was established in the year 2000 with a view to making education in various art faculties available to the students.
The vision of the college is to be the Leading Institution in the field of Visual Art imparting quality education.
The college aims at creating awareness among the students about man's creative expressions over the years and through practical assignments, offers them an opportunity to realize their own potentials.
College is known for its academic excellence not only in Maharashtra but also across India.
It offers B.F.A. Degree in Applied Art under the affiliation of the University of Pune.
The degree in Applied Art is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Bharati Vidyapeeth's Bharati Kala Mahavidyalaya (College of Fine Arts) has an independent and attractive, ultramodern building having spacious lecture halls, well-equipped studios for various courses and audio-visual facilities. It is fully equipped with up-to-date studios.
Our teaching faculty includes highly qualified, experienced, dedicated, and student-caring teachers. The faculty is a recipient of various State and National Awards.
Renowned personalities from the field of Visual Art are invited regularly to visit the college. They are invited to give demonstrations, conduct workshops, and guide the students periodically to enrich the students with their knowledge and experience.
Students are encouraged at all levels, to take part in various state and national competitions, exhibitions, sports, and other extra-curricular activities.
Today this institute is a full-fledged Art Institute with 240 students pursuing Applied Art form all over the country. The college has produced excellent results every year.
