Art Projects International
Art Projects International (ARTprojects) is a contemporary art gallery and art advisory located in the historic district of Tribeca, New York City. Established by Jung Lee Sanders in 1993, with its gallery space originally located in SoHo, ARTprojects was one of the first galleries in the United States that provided a platform for contemporary artists from Asia and has been a unique presence in the New York art gallery scene, working with artists, curators, and collectors with diverse international backgrounds. Over the years, the gallery has served a vital role in fostering the careers of many artists and continues to present critically acclaimed exhibitions, publications, and other projects in the United States and abroad. The gallery provides highly personalized service and works closely with individuals, museums, and corporations on their acquisitions and private collections. Works by the gallery artists are represented in major institutions around the world. Many of the gallery’s exhibitions and other projects have received critical acclaim in major international publications and media including the New York Times, New Yorker, Artforum, Artnews, Art in America, Art Asia Pacific, Flash Art, CNN, International Herald Tribune, Barron’s, Boston Globe, San Francisco Chronicle, Harper’s Bazaar, and Newsweek.
