Art Centrix

Art Centrix Space is a unique 3500 square feet space in a stunningly landscaped 2.5 acres environment in the heart of South Delhi’s Vasant Kunj. It has been conceived with the idea of bringing in more people into the fold of art, whether as connoisseurs or as creators of art and to connect the rich past of Indian culture with the future creative vision and aesthetics of a young nation.

Over 150 artists from across India have already exhibited and have been represented at Art Centrix Space including those from Oman and an Italian artist from Canada through 20 shows here and outside at the Lalit kala Academi and the Japan Foundation. We continue to handle portfolios of some 200 artists. The Japanese art form of Origami has been continuously promoted here and synched with Indian forms. Several large scale art projects are underway.

Art Centric Space is a place to appreciate art in a relaxed environment and to bring about a sea change in the way people view art - from being intimidating and incomprehensible to being accessible and experienced in relation to space. The indoor environment has a formal gallery to exhibit art and a modern Art Lounge 360 with well-designed interiors to view art  as it would look in one’s own space. The outdoor sculpture garden is a natural setting for installations and sculptural works and is a hub for artistic get-togethers, interesting events and conversations on art and culture.

Monica Jain is the Curator-Director of Art Centrix Space. She holds a BFA in Applied Arts from College of Art, Tilak Marg, New Delhi and an MA in Art History from the National Museum Institute, New Delhi.  She has studied art under doyens like Dr Lolita Nehru and Dr Jyotindra Jain among others and has the good fortune to have grown up and learned art management under her uncle Shri OP Jain, the former convenor of INTACH and Founder of Sanskriti Anandagram. As an artist, she has trained under the renowned sculptor KS Radhakrishnan. She is a patron of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale since 2018.
