Taiwan Visual Arts Association"/avat-art is an intermediary non-profit organization, also known as "Visual Art Alliance", or "Vision Alliance" for short. Since its establishment in 1999, its main purpose is to serve the art community. At the beginning of the association, many visual art creators, curators, art critics, art researchers, art administrative workers, and art educators were recruited to join as members. As the association grows and expands, it has gradually developed ideas and art. Friends and groups with the same professional field have joined in successively, including galleries, art brokerage companies, art club groups, etc., bringing together various practitioners in the visual arts majors. So far, more than 1,000 members have joined the association.
